Brad Sorting

My current project is going to be a while in the making (if it's to turn out right). So I thought I'd share my newly re-organized brad collection.
My frugal friend would be proud of me today -- as I prepared to pitch an empty box (once full of Figis Mini Petits Fours - a gift from a friend at Christmas) an idea occurred to me.
All those little "pockets" (that once contained yummy little cakes) would make great homes for my brad collection.  So I dumped my mini drawer of brads on the counter and got busy.  Half and hour later (with the help of my 7 year old) the project was complete.  I may start using brads more.......now that I don't have to dig through the whole pile of them to find what I'm looking for!

What a great idea! Does it have that lightweight plastic liner like a chocolate box sometimes does? (I'm just trying to visualize it.)

I used to just pitch the plastic liner and save the box, but this is a great idea. I seem to collect lots of tiny things. :)

Yes, the liner is very much like the ones in chocolate boxes. AND I started to do the same thing you do ---- pitch the liner and keep the box----when it was 1/2 way to the trash inspiration struck -- you see the result! Think I've been hanging around you long enough that you're starting to rub off!! It could get scary if I turn from a "pitch it" person to a "pack- rat!" (smile)
