I Challenge You -- Sea Theme

My friend and I decided to start something new between us.  Since it's a lot more fun to make things together, but rarely convenient to actually be together ------we decided to pick a theme each week and make at least one item in that theme "together." Wednesday's on my blog will now be "I Challenge You" days where I will post the item(s) I have made in the predetermined theme for the week.  We will alternate back and forth between the two of us --in choosing the theme for the week. Christa picked the one for this week --- A Sea Theme.
The following items are my Sea Themed creations.
(Supplies -- Brown/White/Blue Card Stock -- Coastal/Maritime Stamp Set (Inkadinkadoo) --Pearlustre Sapphire Embossing Powder --Dark Blue Ribbon -- Swirls Embossing Folder--Homemade Dew Drops colored with Metallic Bic Marker)
(Supplies ---They Word is a Lamp - Rubber Stampede ---Black Embossing Powder-- Bic Markers--Garden of Bee Balm Wreath Stamp Set [Rubber Stamp Tapestry] --Sea Shell Stamp [Rubber Stamp Tapestry]--White/Blue/Red Card Stock --- Pinwheel Die Cut [Provo Craft])
(Supplies --White/Pink/Yellow/Blue Cardstock--By the Sea Sentiments [My Sentiments Exactly]--Blushing Pink Pastel/Pearlustre Sapphire Embossing Powder--Markers --Paper Crimper -- Misc. Ink [over the crimped paper])
(Supplies --Misc. card stock --Swirls Embossing Folder -- Quilling Tool -- Misc. Inks)

This last one is my personal favorite.  I haven't done quilling in a while, and this one got me back in the mood! I rubbed orange/yellow/red inks on the "sky" to add colors to the sunset -- some is rubbed on the top of the waves as a reflection as well.  Lots of fun to make, and very rewarding when finished.

Now go here to see what my friend created this week.  And come back next Wednesday to see what I have challenged her to make.  If you'd like to get in on the fun --- leave a comment with a link to your blog showing us what you've done in a Sea Theme.

(I do have one more sea themed card to share, but you'll have to come back next Tuesday to see it.  I'm guest hosting on Two for Tuesday and can't share the image till then.)

So very nice - I especially like the quilled one - just the few little coils add so much and the colors are beautiful!

Wow! Would you believe I haven't used that lighthouse stamp yet? Now I need to dust it off! (I'm not sure why I didn't think to pull it out for this challenge, but oh well!)

Everything is beautiful, but my personal favorite is the sunset card, too. I really need to experiment with that, especially since I now have a brayer!

Thanks for playing along! I'm looking forward to next week's challenge. This is a lot of fun, especially since it's a challenge that I know I have everything for. :)
