Easter Things

The castle post has been moved to Friday -- come back then to peek inside.
Going to a Kid's Easter Party -- here's one of my contributions.....bunny cakes.  While I know Easter isn't about bunnies, they are a spring thing that I make every year.  I am also taking the stuff to make Resurrection Rolls -- the recipe follows:
Resurrection Rolls
1. Crescent Rolls
2. 8 Lg. Marshmallows
3. Melted Butter
4. Sugar
5. Cinnamon
Directions:
Give each child one triangle shaped section of crescent roll.  This represents the tomb.
Each child takes one marshmallow which represents the body of Christ.
Dip the marshmallow in the butter and roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.  This represents the oils and spices the body was anointed with upon burial.
Lay the marshmallow on the dough and carefully wrap it around the marshmallow.
Make sure all the seams are pinched together well. (Otherwise the marshmallow will "ooze" out of the seams)
Bake according to package directions.
Cool.
Break open the tomb and the body of Christ is no longer there!!
Celebrate Easter and God's Love!

Here are the treat containers I made up for the kids at the party....they include this little lamb card.
