I Challenge You - Chipboard Books

My friend picked the challenge for this week.  She wanted us to use chipboard books in some way.
Here's what I came up with:
I started with this purse chipboard shape
and added another one -- like this
I traced this design on a large piece of cardboard and cut it out.
Here's the little purse notebook I made and decorated from the purse chipboard shape.
For the inside I used my scallop nestabilities and cut typing paper to make lots of blank pages for my daughter to write and draw on.  I folded the typing paper in half and left just a little of the scallop shape off so as to make the left and right pages attached in the middle. These I glued to the middle of the chipboard book.

My daughter took over it immediately and had several pages written on before I had time to type up this post!
Now go to my friend's blog and see her creation(s) for the week.

Hey, that's a great idea to trace them back-to-back like that! I'll have to try it sometime.

I love the whole design, too. If it were a real purse, I'd buy it! :)
