Simple Sympathy

I've needed some sympathy cards lately, but didn't have a lot of time to put into them. Decided to go for a simple look - one in pink and two in blue.
Supplies used:
  • Martha Stewart bird stamp
  • Versa Mark
  • Blue chalk
  • Oval template
  • Martha Stewart corner punch
  • Border stamps from ????
  • Little punched flowers
  • White/blue/pink cardstock
Two of the cards were for people I don't know very well at all, but I wanted to give them a little gift to express my sympathy --- here's the little bucket gift I came up with:
It includes:
  • Apple Cinnamon Candle
  • Bath and Body works lotion
  • Sample size coffee
  • Hershey bars
  • Gum
  • Some "Tea to Go" packs to put in bottled water
  • Small Daily Bread Devotional
  • Soft Peppermints sprinkled over all
I actually made three of these -- the other two have Bath and Body works hand sanitizer instead of the lotion.
Just a wee something to let them know I care.

Those are perfect. Definitely something that will help express your sympathetic feelings. It would help me feel better about something sad, that's for sure. Delightful work :).

When you are grieving everything appears much larger. Your baskets will always be cherished in your friends' minds. Where did you find the baskets?

The "baskets" were from Dollar General.
