Hydrangea Scripture Cards

I found these great hydrangea images at The Graphics Fairy and couldn't wait to use them on something ....finally got a chance to do so.
I made each card slightly different than the others, but all in the same basic design.

I do so love hydrangeas and all things vintage, and I LOVE the Word of God - so putting them all together into these stunning works of greeting card art is perfection! I'm trying my hand at the small canvas ATC's this summer - mu first foray into the crafting world for the love of crafting in 8 years! Wow! I can't believe I've been away from it for so long - trading in all my glue, paint, and ribbons for books, props, and costumes. If only there could be two or more of my artsy self! Well, crafting has certainly evolved in that time and I'm discovering a new world out there - I've got some catching up to do - been away too long.
    Thanks for the inspiration, milady!

These are beautiful! I, too, love hydrangeas. I also think the Scripture fonts are the perfect accent.

I'm so glad you're able to use those scissors. They had been sitting here for two years and I don't think I had used them once.

I.love.this. Wish I saw these before I put my last post up. Did you put them in a document and then add the word art? Stunning cards!

Yes, Pam -- I put the clip art in Microsoft Word and then layered the transparent Scripture over top. I have LOTS of free clipart/digital stamp files in Word - that's what I use most of the time.
