Mini Clutch

Above is the mini clutch I made my 6 year old niece to celebrate her birthday last week.
The jean material is actually recycled from a pair of my husband's "old" jeans.  When he's finished with them I salvage any good material left in them -- I used the same pair of jeans to make up the birthday purse I featured last week!
The pattern for these clucthes came from here (I just shrunk it down a bit to make a mini one!) I really do intend to make up a picture tutorial soon - since the blog it came from is in another language.

I adore that fabric combination! Yellow gingham is one of my all-time favorites.

I love recycling old jeans, too. Several of my family members save their old jeans for me, so I never seem to lack for material. :)

You've totally inspired me with these clutches. I think I mentioned it before, but I cut out 10 or more from scraps as I was going through my fabric stash. Now I just need to set some time aside to sew them up. Thanks for the inspiration!

Adorable. I'm a big gingham fan. I love how you shelter so inexpensively. It's one principle I'd love to get through to people. It's not the money -- it's the thought.

And thank you for sheltering me. I was delighted to receive the picture of Makayla. She's growing up, Esther. Better stop the Miracle Grow. And oh, I've dreamed up a million ways to use my songbook punches!
