I'm back!

After two very yuck weeks (partially spent with the worst case of stomach flu I've ever had!) -- I"m feeling much better and getting "back to normal" (whatever that is!).
Sharing something simple today --- one of my cheap thrift store finds mentioned in this post.
The above metal shade was the only item not needing some sort of addition or altering.
I placed it on a large crystal candle holder that didn't exactly match my rooms decor until the shade came long.
Here's the candle holder/shade on a nightstand in my room.
See that sweet little primitive lamb in the middle ---- I have Pam from Our Sheltering Tree to thank for that! She sent it to me last week, and it came at a time when I needed cheering up! She even sent my daughter an American Girl Paper Punch -- just because--- So sweet and thoughtful of her!
THANK YOU to Abby as well -- for her sweet cards and emails full of love, care, and prayers! My husband was so impressed that her Bible study ladies signed a card for me/prayed for me -- someone they don't even know! Abby - you'll never really know how much your acts of kindness mean!

I'm glad you are feeling better. So special of Abby to have the ladies sign a card for you. What a sweet way to shelter.

So glad you are feeling better, Esther. That lampshade is beautiful and the primitive lamb is gorgeous. Is it an antique? It sure looks like it.

Abby is a blessing to a lot of people that don't even know her, as are you. You don't know how important your posts and creations can be to others.

Blessing hugs,
Teresa
