Thrifted Frames

After my post about thrift store decorating yesterday, I noticed I have quite a few made over things in my home.
Today's post is about the thrifted (or given to me) frames I've re-purposed in my decor.
The frame above is one I made up for my bedroom.
Materials used in makeover: Gingham fabric, Cream Lace, Tan Ribbon, Kraft Cardstock, Made-by-me verse art, handmade burlap flowers, digital art from Digi Web Studio, Dollar Doodles

This little frame is featured in the secretary in my dining room
Materials used in makeover: Brown & black paint, Red & Tan ticking, Burlap, small clip

This oval frame turned tray can be found on top of my coffee table
Material used in makeover: White paint, burlap, muslin

This frame is hanging on the wall in my craft room
Materials used in makeover: Black paint (frame), Red & Tan ticking, Coffee dyed doily, Lace, Burlap, Handmade button-card, clip

An embroidered family frame for the kitchen
Materials used in makeover: Brown & Black paint (frame), Muslin material, embroidery thread

An original embroidery design hangs in my living room
Material used in makeover: Cream, Tan, Brown, Yellow paint (frame), Blue gingham fabric, Muslin material, Embroidery thread, buttons

Another embroidery piece for my laundry room
Materials used in makeover: Red paint (frame), muslin material, embroidery thread

For this extra large frame (in my living room) I used some cream paint, dictionary pages, ribbon, twine, and embellished clothespins to make a giant sized picture display

This made-over frame is in my guest bathroom
Materials used in makeover: Chicken wire, lace -- paper covered clothespins, crocheted flower

These two sea themed frames hang in a hallway

Materials used in makeover: Digital Art from Raspberry Road

Last but not least - sometimes I actually use the frame for it's intended purpose (smile)!
Just a little black paint and it fits right in with my decor!

Hope you enjoyed seeing how I've taken used, thrift store frames and turned them into art for my home!
