Card Sets

I added two card sets to my Etsy shop.
I decided to try something different.
Instead of making all the cards in the sets the same,
I made smaller themed sets.
Above is the Floral Encouragement (Set of 2)
Below a  Bird Themed Cards (Set of 3)

One Layer - At Sea

I made this card for the Less is More challenge in the theme of:
One Layer -- At Sea.
Clean and Simple cards are so hard for me...especially when they have to be one layer!
I enjoy the challenge, and maybe one day I'll "master" it!

Supplies: Chalks, By the Seaside (Inkadinkado)

Love is a great thing...

Here's a clean and simple card I made using the Meadow stamp set from Inkadinkado and a sentiment from Love is a Great Thing (Stampin' Up).
To make the solid colored rectangle I flipped a clear background stamp over and inked the reverse side to stamp a solid block.

Crocheted Sandals

A friend of mine recently had a beautiful baby girl.
As part of her gift I crocheted her
some baby sandals she'd been wanting.
I did them in gray and yellow to match the little dress
I bought her and also included one of my
crocheted baby headband sets.
You can find the free Flip Flop Sandal pattern here:

Mother's Day Gifts

These were the Mother's Day gifts for church ladies this year.
Crocheted Face Scrubbies with pretty wrapped bars of Caress Soap.
I wrapped the bars in brown paper and added a paper doily and mason jar tag.
The finished package was all tied up with twine for a lovely finish!
I also included Ghirardelli chocolates - you can't go wrong with chocolate!

Bird's Nest Freebie

I created this bird's nest Scripture art using a free image from Tangled Pen.
For the first card I printed the image, tore and inked the edges and layered it on cardstock.
For the second card I  printed it directly on my cardfront with the verse below.
The last card features a freebie I made a few years back with the same verse underneath.

I'm including three free printables in this post:

(Great to print and tuck inside cards)

Card Front #2

Handle with Prayer

I had a lot of fun layering different stamps on this clean and simple, one-layer design.
To get a partial stamp of my script background I layered a piece of torn cardstock over my cardfront so it would only ink the left portion.

Supplies and Tools: Script Background Stamp (Stampin' Up), Linen Stamp (Creative Stamping --Backgrounds and Beyond), Meadow (Inkadinkado), Sentiment, White/Teal Cardstock

Book Page Envelopes #2

Here's another set of book page envelopes I made - this time using a Little Golden book called:
The Little Red Caboose.
Instead of gluing the sides of these, I sewed a zig zag seem up the side with my sewing machine.
I also made little one layer train cards to tuck inside with my message.
I'm using them in the Shelter: Postmarked Ministry.
To view the first set I made (in a Winnie the Pooh theme) click here.

Here's a mini notecard freebie I made in this theme.
