Celebrate

The idea for this set of cards came from a
gratitude note card my sister-in-law sent me for Thanskgiving.
I printed off several birds from this
The background is stamped on a piece of typing paper
with one side folded back to
reveal the embossed cardstock underneath.
I added a little bit of sparkle with rhinestones
in the center of the bigger snowflakes.

Supplies and tools: White/Red/Blue Cardstock, Snowflake Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug-Provo Craft),
Bird printables, Snowflake Stamps (Inkadinkado - Martha Stewart), Sharpie Marker, Square Punch

Less is More - Books/Literature

This card fits the challenge this week over at
Less is More.
The challenge is to make a ONE LAYER card
in the theme of books or literature.
I chose to showcase a quote from author Virginia Woolf.

I started by splatting my background with
brown ink using my homemade rubber band tool
I added a collage of autumn leaves
(from the Gratitude/Autumn Leaves stamp set)
and finished with the PSX sentiment.

Retro Tag Mini Cards

I'm making up a homemade card gift for an aunt
that will be visiting over Thanksgiving.
I decided it would be fun to include some mini cards in the set.
These cards are made from my Retro Tags collection
and measure 4 x 2 inches.
I added different styles of ribbon/twine to the top
To make this set of vintage themed cards more fun, I created some
mini envelope pockets from notebook paper.
I'm including the envelope template I
drew in case you'd like to make your own.

Supplies and Tools: Retro Tags Digital Download, White Cardstock,
Baker's Twine, Ribbon, Kraft Twine, Notebook paper
