Snowflake Love

Now that the hustle and bustle of the
holidays is over it's time to get
back to crafting and posting!
Originally, I made this card for a Christmas card,
but I think it could also double as a winter or Valentine card
given the color scheme and sentiment!

Supplies and Tools:
Snowflake Embossing folder (Provo Craft), Star Template
Paper Crimper (Fiskars),  Baker's Twine, Button, Ric Rac
Square Punch (for banner), Word Die (Momenta)

Caramel Corn

Here's a yummy recipe for caramel corn that
I got from my sister-in-law a couple years ago.
I've already made 5 batches this holiday season --
most of it I gave away as gifts - some is for
Christmas company -- and one batch we ate!
Caramel Corn
2 sticks butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup white karo syrup
Boil these three ingredients together in a medium
saucepan for 5 minutes
Pour 2 bags of Snyder's Hulless Popcorn
into a greased roaster pan
When mixture stops boiling,
drizzle over popcorn and mix
Bake uncovered at 250 degrees,
stirring every 15 minutes.
Dump popcorn onto cookie sheets and
break up clumps
Store in airtight container
ENJOY
Beware: This stuff is addicting!

Christmas Love

I enjoy doing black and white cards with just a "pop" of color,
and I love how the Christmas tree and red bow stand out against
the music background of this card.
After I made the card I noticed that the little tree label
would make a great gift tag.
Here's a set I made to send a friend
going through a hard time this Christmas.
I packaged them up in a glassine bag
and added one of my handmade festive stickers.
Hope it makes her day a little
brighter to get some happy mail!

Supplies and Tools: Music Background (Stampin' Up), Tree Punch (Martha Stewart), Red Twine,
Word Die (Momenta), Snowflake Punch (Martha Stewart), Baker's Twine,
Star and Heart Punch, Labels 4 (Spellbinders), Labels 1 (Spellbinders),
Label from Kraft Outlet, Glassine Bag, Digi from Digi Web Studio
