Monochromatic Cone Flowers

This card was inspired by the Monochromatic Challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbon. I chose four blues from my distress ink pads and set to creating with my new Blossom Stamp and Stencil set from Tim Holtz.
After coloring my flowers with Prismacolor pencils (and blending with baby oil), I added some white accents to the petals and fuzzy dots to the centers with a white gel pen.
Supplies and Tools:
Blossom Stamp and Stencil Set (Tim Holtz), Stencil Bushes, Water, Paintbrush, Ink Applicator, Luck Clover Distress Stain (Tim Holtz), Peacock Feathers/Mermaid Lagoon/Salty Ocean/Broken China/Black Soot Distress Ink (Tim Holtz), Prismacolor Pencils, White Gel Pen, White Crinkle Ribbon, Paper Distresser, Sequins

Wow! I love that gorgeous background color. The flowers are so pretty and wonderful with the "fuzzy" centers!

I LOVE the blue monochromatic theme (my fav color!) I would have never thought to use that stamp that way but it totally works and is beautiful. The white accents are the perfect embellishing touch!

Beautiful stamping and inking and such lovely summery colours, thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us at Stamping Sensations challenge.

And yes that does count |Esther, I now realise most of us find it almost impossible to choose just one favourite.

Hi Esther:
This is clearly the most gorgeous monochromatic card I've seen along my way today while commenting. It's absolutely amazing the things you are able to do, my friend. Thanks so much for playing along with us. I hope that next time you think of ribbon, you will think of Really Reasonable Ribbon for all your twines, trims, ribbons, flowers, and more. We look forward to having you play along in our challenges again soon as well. Oooo….and don’t forget about our Blog Hop on the 13th. One lucky person wins the Ribbon Club Assortment, and it could be YOU this month. I hope you will join us.
Blessings,
