Quilted Sympathy

Today I have a quilt themed sympathy card to share with you. I keep my paper scraps organized in pockets according to color, so it's fairly easy to pull out some matching pieces and create a background like this one.
For step by step instructions on putting this card together: Visit today's post on the Cropstop blog.
Since I wanted the quilted background to be the main feature of this card, I kept the embellishments to a minimum.
 Supplies and Tools:
Dies: Blossom Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
Embossing: Christmas Quilt Embossing Folder (Couture Creations), White Embossing Powder
Inks:  Versamark Watermark, Broken China Distress Oxide, Black Ink (Tsukineko)
Stamps: All Occasions Sentiments (Heartfelt), All Things Are Possible (Heartfelt Creations), Seamstress Stamp (Prima)
Tools: Cuttlebug, Paper Trimmer,
Misc: Paper Scraps,  Ribbon

Beautiful card and wonderful idea. Quilts are comforting so a quilted sympathy card is perfect! Thanks for playing with us at 4 Crafty Chicks this week!

This is so wonderful. Love the patterned paper. We're so blessed that you joined us with your wonderful art last Challenge. We would like to invite you to link with us again in our current Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving some inspiration from the Word of God in John 4:14 n which Jesus said, "But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life." Have a wonderful and blessed week.
