Happy Moments

Today I'm sharing another card made with beautiful Graciellie Designs Digital Stamps. This card features her newly released "Happy Moments" set.

I printed my jar of flowers on watercolor paper and colored it in using Prismacolor Pencils. After blending, I added a few highlights with watercolor markers and added a burlap string bow.

 Creating a lattice background:
  1. Cut a stack of 1/8 inch paper strips
  2. Run a strip of adhesive across the bottom of your cardstock  and adhere a line of paper strips
  3. Starting at the top, weave a strip of paper through and slide to the bottom
  4. Repeat until you reach the top
  5. Carefully lift your woven piece, apply adhesive and press to your cardstock
  6. Hand cut (or die cut) a frame to go finish off the edges

Inside I added a pretty yellow border with the Martha Stewart butterfly border punch.

If you haven't already, you'll want to stop by Gracie's Etsy shop - Graciellie Designs - and check out all the lovely stamps, papers, and cut files she has for sale there!

Esther your jar of spring blooms is beautifully coloured but that lattice background is a work of art - what a painstaking amount of effort and so worth it - fabulous! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!

WOW....I thought for sure that was some sort of diecut, but look how cool your lattice is!! I might have to try this myself...my problem would be cutting all those little strips evenly, LOL! Anyway, it's a perfect background for your pretty yellow florals! Thanks for playing and sharing this with us this week at the Players! And thanks for the tutorial!
