Recycled Creation

This card has two recycled things on it. First -- the paper that basket of apples is printed on is out of "paint boxes" from the hardware store.  Second --- the tag is made out of a piece from a cardboard box.  I saw the "Try a New Technique" challenge over at Splitcoast (gallery here) this week was to use corrugated cardboard on your project and something clicked.....I remembered a little stash of cardboard I'd saved back for projects like this.  So....I dug it out and set to creating......the above card was my finished product.
Supplies used:
  • Corrugated Cardboard
  • Red Ink pad (inked cardboard with)
  • Red Flower Eyelet (top of cardboard tag)
  • Leaf Die cuts (Provo Craft) - on tag
  • Harvest Expressions Sentiment (Inkadinkadoo)
  • Copper Embossing Powder (Zing) - sentiment
  • Misc. Scrap of Red Paper (under sentiment)
  • Burlap w/frayed edges (under sentiment)
  • DP - Classics (K & Company)
  • Vintage Lace (across bottom of card)
  • Ruffled Red Ribbon (over vintage lace)
  • Basket of Apples coloring page from here
  • Crayola Markers
  • Singer Pixie Sewing Machine (stitched around tag -- zig zag around card)
  • Cream Cardstock
