I recycled a bridge mix container (or was is chocolate covered raisins?) to package up the little gift for his friend. Here's a photo of it without the tag on top.
I included yummy stuff inside like:
- Gum
- Sour strips
- Fritos
- Fruit roll ups
- Soft Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Skittles
Here's a photo of the patriotic tags I made --- one for each boy
Supplies used:
- Kraft Paper
- Dictionary page
- Star Template
- Red/Cream/Blue cardstock
- Jute/Twine
- Blue Eyelet
- Metallic Bic Marker
- traced tag and cut out with this showing
- Black Felt Tip Pen
- faux stitching around stars
I love making gifts up like this --- if they bring as much cheer to the receiver as they did to the giver they'll be happy!
