Paris Bathroom -- Memory Board

I went to the thrift store looking for a frame that I could make over into a memory board and I wasn't disappointed!  Found me a square piece of art framed in a gold frame for a little over $2. It started out looking like this:
It didn't take me long to tear it all apart and paint this pretty (ornate) frame black (with a $1 can of spray paint from Wal-mart)!
A close up of the frame
Used the board that was in it and these supplies:
  1. 1/2 yard fabric from JoAnn's
  2. Batting
  3. Pink Ribbon
  4. Stapler
  5. Black Fabric Flowers (a Christmas present from my daughter
I placed the batting on the art board (that came in the frame) and stretched the fabric over it tightly.  Using the stapler I stapled it firmly to the back.  I attached the ribbon in the same manner and hot glued the black fabric flowers on where the ribbon intersected.
It's not really hanging by the black/white/pink gingham ribbon -- it's really just on there for show.
The plan is to add vintage art work to it - which I'll show you another day!
