Tea-riffic Friend

Today's tea themed card features something that I find very hard to use --- small stamps! I'm pretty happy with how it came out in the end, but it was a lot of work getting it there!

Here's how I created this card:
  • Using papers from Mosaic Memories (Recollections) I created the bottom half of the card
    • the blue piece is punched with the Eyelet Lace Border Punch from Martha Stewart
  • I stamped the Spoon (Backgrounds & Beyond) in Broken China Distress Ink (Ranger) across the top of the card
  • I stamped the Teacup (PSX) in Candied Apple Distress Oxide (Ranger) and fussy cut it
  • I popped up my teacup with mounting tape on a paper doily cut with the  Vintage Doily dies from Maya Road
    • This in turn was layered on a red piece of card stock cut with the Large Scallop Circle Nestabiliites (Spellbinders)
  •  I added four red rhinestones (from Dollar Tree) across the polka-dot panel
  • In the bottom corner I added a "hello friend" sentiment from Wordsworth on an oval stitched die cut
