Your Life Is Your Story

Today I'm sharing two cards using a beautiful new digital stamp set from Graciellie Design.
For this first card, I also used papers from two of her digital paper sets.
By turning one from the Pink and Blue watercolor set sepia, I created a totally new look to the paper!

Supplies and tools:

You can see the glitter I added to the book and flowers a little clearer in the photo below.

I think this set is perfect for creating graduation cards --- and I needed two this year.
For my second card I paired it with digital papers from Gracie's Summer Sunflowers set.

I thought an ocean scene would best illustrate the song I chose for today's card.

Micah 6:8

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a card that features one of my favorite Bible verses -- Micah 6:8. I used two different Polkadot Orchard sets on this one.

To create my flowers: I mixed Picked Raspberry and Wild Honey distress oxide together and painted a piece of heavy watercolor paper. I added splatters and printed my flowers. After fussy cutting, I added highlights with ink daubers and Prismacolor pencils.

It's a Sketch!

Since there are five Wednesdays in May we get to do a sketch challenge over on the The House That Stamps Built. Here's the sketch Wendy gave us to work with this month...

Now that I'm looking at it, I guess I turned it upside-down or something --- my side pieces are opposite of the ones in the sketch. Can we just pretend I placed them where they go? (I even had it sitting in front of me, and I still messed it up.)
