I'm up on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps blog today sharing this cheery autumn card that features handmade buttons that I created using some of the smaller images from the Happy Scarecrow set.
Do It Yourself Buttons:
- color and die cut the images you want to turn into buttons
- die cut a matching piece of thin cardboard (cracker/cereal boxes work great!)
- glue your image and cardboard cutout together
- punch two holes in the center for buttonholes
- thread some pretty ribbon or twine through and tie

ReplyDeleteThat was such a fabulous idea to make buttons from these stamps, such a great layout and love your touch of lace with the jute and little doily at the bottom peeking out!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a button card without the buttons - no extra postage on this card. I love the card and the buttons.
