The Sea

“Sometimes God calms the storm,

and sometimes He lets the storm rage but calms His child.”

The Creative Worship Stamps team is doing a Through the Seasons theme this month, and this week the season we're focusing on is summer. I created a sea themed card and matching bookmark featuring The Sea stamp set. To create the background on my card I masked off the sun and colored my mixed media paper with Arteza Real Brush Pens. I removed the mask and colored in the sun before added some white acrylic paint splatters and the cattails silhouette. The center is cut out, matted, and popped up to add a bit more dimension.
