Floral Bookmarks

Instead of a new release this month, the Creative Worship Stamps Team is creating projects that feature a reading or book theme.

For today's project I used their Bookmarks & More Die Set and Beautiful Bouquets to create some pretty floral bookmarks. I started by die cutting my bookmarks from Canson Watercolor paper. Next I laid the Vintage Doily stencil over top and spritzed them with Shiny Bauble Distress Mica Stain Spray. After stamping random stamps over the background, I punched a whole in the top and added muslin ribbon that I dyed using the same mica spray.

The flowers were stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens. I used the Vintage Typewriter Blocks Alpha Stamp Set to add a sentiment. After adhering both the floral arrangements and sentiments, I splattered the entire bookmark with diluted white acrylic paint.
