Today I have a gatefold card to share with you that features the Stamp-of-the-Month from Creative Worship Stamps, Finch Collage. This stamp can be yours free when you place an order for $75 or more in March.
Instead of folding my card stock in half to create the typical A2 card, I folded both sides to the center to create a gatefold opening. Next, I spritzed mixed media paper with Shiny Bauble and Flickering candle Distress Mica Spray. For the front panels I laid down my Damask Pattern stencil and removed some of the ink with a baby wipe. For the inside panels, I added white gesso through the stencil. The Finch Collage was stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens. The front panels were also splattered with diluted black acrylic paint. To complete the card I stamped a sentiment from The Lord Is Near and the Sitting Pretty birds on white card stock and glued it to the inside of my card.
