Today's card features the two new stamp sets from Creative Worship Stamps. I love the big Scripture sentiment stamp, but I confess, sometimes I struggle with using sentiments that large. I started to create a plain kraft and black card, but on a whim I added the yellow flowers in my "scrap bin" from a failed previous projects. I'm loving the pop of color they add. The flowers and leaves were stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens. I inked the edges of my kraft panels with Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add just a bit more depth and interest.

Esther... first, nothing is ever a failure in cardmaking. It might be an experiment, practice, or destined for the stash pile. Those flowers were meant to be on this card, which is amazing! The pop of yellow draws your eye to that wonderful sentiment. This is a truly lovely encouragement card. Thank you so much for sharing it with Just Us Girls!
Wonderfully done. I so love how you make your backgrounds with the stamps like that and adding the yellow ones is a great pop of color! Great backdrop for the verse!
This is a gorgeous card Esther! I love how the two flowers really stand out from the rest. And your color choice of browns and blacks shaded in is just so nice and cozy. Lovely all around! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We always appreciate seeing the beautiful things you make!
Your encouragement card is truly wonderful; the coloured flowers are a lovely special touch. Thank you for joining us at Just Us Girls.
