Patiently, Tenderly

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
Jeremiah 31:3

The Creative Worship Stamps team is sharing seasonal projects this month, and this week's theme has been spring. My junk journal layout is all about the tender, patient way that Jesus draws us to Himself often using the trials and storms of life to remind us just how much we need Him.

That bold flower was stenciled using white gesso and then colored with Tim Holtz watercolor pencils. I love the texture and dimension it adds to the page.

Peace Be Still

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27

Since there isn't a new release for Creative Worship Stamps this month, they'll be doing a "Through the Seasons" theme this month using the amazing products they already have in the store. This week we're sharing spring themed projects, and I have another junk journal layout to share that focuses on peace. There's nothing like the peace of God, especially when you're going through a storm. Knowing I am His child, and He has my life in His hands brings such comfort and hope.

Thinking of You

One last card for July featuring several products from the Creative Worship Stamps July Release. For the background I stenciled the NEW Funky Stones on blue card stock using white pigment ink. The butterfly was stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens. A bit of sewing and cheesecloth add extra texture to my little square card.
