Blue Pumpkins

  I'm up on the Stamp Simply blog today sharing this fun autumn card that features pumpkins in the non-traditional color of blue! The pumpkins were stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens. I added some white spatters and a baker's twine bow and button. The background is a printable paper from Jenny Allsorts Vintage Farmhouse collection.

The First Christmas

 Today's card features a NEW Christmas stamp set from Creative Worship Stamps called The First Christmas. I stamped the images on a piece of printable music paper and added a little color with Arteza Real Brush Pens. After tearing around the edges, I inked them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I added a die cut wreath around baby Jesus and a torn sentiment to one corner. A printable gingham paper strip adds a bit more color to this vintage style holiday card.

Paper Funday Guest

I'm honored to be guest designing for The Paper Funday Challenge this month where the theme is Cute or Creepy. I chose cute and created this fun little pumpkin shaped card using oval dies. 

To create the card I die cut 5 ovals from white card stock and stamped two different plaid stamps from Texture Tiles 4 on them in Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide. I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and assembled them to create a pumpkin shape. I traced the shape onto white cardstock and fussy cut to create my pumpkin shaped card base. The flowers were stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens. A burlap ribbon stem and white paint splatters complete this fun little autumn card.

Fall Wreath

 I'm up on the Stamp Simply blog today sharing this autumn wreath card. The background is a piece of mixed media paper that's ink smooshed with gathered twigs and walnut stain distress ink. I stamped the leaves from Give Thanks in several places and added text from one of the Scripty Background sets. I added metallic paint splatters and inked the edges in vintage photo distress ink. The stamped wreath is layered over two Tim Holtz die cut wreaths with fussy cut leaves and acorns attached to one corner.
