Valentine Pockets

I'm up on the Stamp Simply blog sharing these fun little paper bag pockets I created for Valentine's Day. I did one with a kraft paper bag as the base and one with a white bag.

I used lots of printable pattern papers to decorate the pockets and added a paper doily folded over the top. I found some pretty Valentine ribbons at Dollar Tree and used the red gingham one on the white pocket. The other pocket features a piece of torn muslin. I saved an old curtain and used it to tear strips off of it to use for ribbon.

 Supplies from Stamp Simply:

Both pockets have a tag with verses from the love chapter, 1 Corinthians 13, stamped on them. The white pocket also features a tiny heart clipped to the pocket with a heart clothespin from Dollar General.

 Other Supplies:
  • Mini Wood Clips (Dollar Tree)
  • Gingham Ribbon (Dollar Tree)
  • Muslin Ribbon (Torn from an old curtain - lol)
  • Paper Doilies
  • Vintage Photo Distress Ink (Ranger)
  • Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink
I tied seam binding bows to the top of both tags, and this pocket has two Ghirardelli chocolates wrapped in Valentine paper and a tiny die cut heart on top.
