I'm up on the Stamp Simply blog today with this floral mixed media card. The background was embossed with the Elegant 3D embossing folder from Tim Holtz. I inked over the embossing with white ink and then around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The pitcher of flowers was stamped on mixed media paper and colored with Arteza Real Brush Pens. I layered it onto a tag that was also inked around the edges in brown ink and added a muslin bow using fabric strips from an old curtain. I added a bit of lace and ribbon to one side of the tag and a metal book corner to the bottom right corner. The sentiment is a die cut from Stamp Simply that I trimmed up a bit to fit my card front better.
The inside features the Daisy Pitcher in brown ink and a sentiment from one of Stamp Simply's Sympathy stamp sets.

Oh my it is beautiful, I love that bouquet, such pretty coloring, and the layering behind the tag with the paper to match and touch of lace. The corner metal piece is a nice touch too!
Lovely card. All the extra touches add so much to the design, the sentiment, tag and floral add to the vintage feel. Thanks for sharing with us at the ‘A Cut Above’ Die Cut Challenge.
