Envelope Folio

Today I have another folio to share with you. This one is made from gluing two envelopes together (as pictured below). To see this folio in action visit my Youtube page.

I used lots of  stamps and dies from Creative Worship Stamps and printable papers from Pink Monarch Prints.

After printing a double-sided piece of card stock and folding it in half, I hand sewed it into the center of my envelopes to create extra pages.

Each layout features pockets and tuck-ins with encouraging sentiments.

This particular folio has a sympathy theme as was created with someone in mind who recently lost her husband.

I folded a pretty piece of printed paper in half and tucked it into one of hte pockets so as to have a space to write a personal note.

I added pretty silver thread behind several elements to make them stand out a bit more.

The Vintage Postcards set is one of my favorites - I find myself using it over and over again.

I added bits of crocheted lace throughout, to give the album a Shabby-Chic feel.

  1. Esther, this is absolutely beautiful and so very special! I watched your YouTube video. I’m so glad that you posted that because it really shows how lovely this project is. I am definitely going to keep it in mind for when I need a very special card to send to someone. I don’t know if I would use as many envelopes, but just starting off with two would be wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent with us at Word Art Wednesday!
