Fall Quilts

I've been quilting lately............well not litteraly, but with paper!
I have two people I need to make a set of cards for - one is the wife of a guest speaker coming in two weeks....and the other a lady at church who along with her husband has been so generous to us. She's always giving little gifts (eggs, stickers, baby dolls[to my daughter] etc.etc.).  Since I don't like to "be in debt to people" I try to give back when given too.
Anyway, the little taste of fall we've had has me on a quilt kick ---nothing nicer than a warm quilt, cup of hot tea, and a good book - right?
Here's my latest creations
With a slightly different color scheme

These first three used a pattern from here
(A little tip on this first set:  I printed the template on the back of my patterned paper.  So much easier to cut crisp/neat pieces that way.)
Here's a great tutorial for the above card.

The last two  I went to Splitcoast Stampers Gallery and typed "quilt" in the search box.  These two designs were on there to inspire me. (Actually, all these designs are on there in one form or another.)
I've been working on this set for some time now, as there are lots of little faux  stitches around each piece.  You see I'm one of those people that keeps adding and adding and adding to a card.  I'll finish a project, look at it and think "it needs something!"  Then I add this (ribbon, a bow, some buttons, a brad, a flower etc. ) or that (stitches, pen borders, inked edges, embossed pieces) to it till I get my very own cluttered look! (smile)
BUT....I think I can vindicate myself.
I took a picture of the third card without any stitches or embossing....just to see how much they really added to the card.  The picture is below....you decide if it was worth the extra time!
