Today's card is VERY different for me. Not only is it one layer, but it's kind of a funky grunge. I was experimenting with watercoloring using a stencil for the design, and one thing led to another. It's been the trash no less than three times, but I keep digging it out and adding something else to it. I still can't decided if like it --- what do you think?

For today's card I created a fun little scene using stencils and the Kathryn's Rainbow stamp set. To create my background I layered the square flexi-template over top the droplet stencil before inking and it created a perfect square of raindrops on my background!

 I was inspired by the old books and suitcase to create this mixed media card.

After embossing my background with the subway folder, I lightly swiped white ink across it to make the raised part stand out a little more. The suitcases were colored by lifting some ink off of my distress oxide pads with my waterbrush pen and then painting it on my image. I mixed a little brown into the colors to create different tones.
