Autumn Sympathy

 It's been way too long since I've used Kate's Crafts printables, but since I needed several sympathy cards it was the perfect time to print off some of her newest additions to the store. I added a few stamped elements, some lace, and a little paper clip, but most of the card features her beautiful autumn digitals.

Sunflower Junk Journal

 Today I have a sunflower themed junk journal to share with you. I had fun combining several different printable sets from Kate Crafts to create the pages and pullouts of this cheery little book.

Quick card with Printables!

Printable images are a lifesaver when you need a card right now. This masculine birthday card can be created in 10 minutes or less since there's just a few embellishments and no coloring. Kate Crafts not only has a store full of awesome digtals to pick from, but she also gives away FREEBIES on her blog. I used one of her newer sets called Bookworm combined with various papers from her store.

Typewriter Valentine

I'm back with another guest design post for Kate Crafts.  Her Etsy store is full of beautiful printables, so be sure to stop by and check it out. Today I chose to use some of her NEW Valentine printables.

I started by printing off one of her vintage newspaper prints and inking around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I matted this on red card stock to make it stand out against my kraft card front. I printed the typewriter off of one of the 14 sheets of Valentine images and fussy cut it before layering it on a strip of heart paper from her Valentine journal pages. The sentiment is from her Valentine Quotes set. A die cut heart and strip of paper lace complete this card.

Collage Cards

I'm so excited to announce that Kate Crafts has invited me to guest design for her from time to time. Her Etsy store is full of beautiful printables, so be sure to stop by and check it out. I printed off a couple images from their Christmas Journal Pages and one of their Vintage Newspapers for today's card. (Note: I usually insert the images into my word program and reduce their size to fit on an A2 card front before printing them out.)

 I started by ink smooshing distress inks on watercolor paper and adding just a bit of text. Next, I tore the vintage newspaper print in half and layered it behind the winter scene. The sentiments were part of the FREE WINTER PRINTABLE Kate Crafts shared on Facebook. I added a black border using the Crochet #2 dies, some jewels, and a snowflake die cut to finish them off.
