Our church family was invited to a fall get together and hymn sing last week-end.
The hostess promised refreshments - so I made some snack mix to send with my husband and daughter (I didn't feel up to going).
Here's the recipe I used:
Fall Snack Mix
1 box rice chex
2 cans mixed nuts
1 small box cheddar cheez-its
1 small box white cheddar cheez-its
3 - 4 cups pretzel sticks (broken in half)
Mix this together and add this sauce:
1/3 cup oil
6 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 - 2 tsp. garlic powder
1- 2 tsp. onion powder
1- 2 tsp. season salt
Combine wet ingredients and pour over snack mix.
Mix thoroughly -- place on baking sheets
Bake @ 250 degrees for 45 minutes - stirring every 15 min.
After cool add a bag of candy corn.
Store in airtight container
ENJOY!
I included my fall scarecrow card (from this post) and a pack of pretty note cards as a hostess gift!

Hope to see you soon at WAW.

Yum! Love the way you presented it also. Hope they had a nice time!
What a lovely card AND lovely gift too! Can I come to YOUR church for snacks too? Haha!
So glad I came back here to visit YOU!
Have a happy and creative week,
Blessings,
Barb
I'm trying this recipe today. RB has a big paper to write and I like to have a snack on his desk when I know he'll be working.
