I've been wanting to try making book page envelopes for some time, and I finally made it to the thrift store to purchase a used kids book to try it on!
I think I'm hooked -- the next shopping trip will most certainly include more books to recycle into envelopes!
I bought a Winnie the Pooh book with pages measuring 8 x 10 inches and enlarged this template to turn them into envelopes.
To match the envelopes: I cut some white cardstock into one layer cards and stamped them with Pooh images.
All ready to brighten someone's day with some Winnie the Pooh cheer!
Pam (from Shelter: Postmarked) did a series of envelope inspiration posts last week.

Never thought to look for old books, I use old calendars and scrapbook papers that have a design that I don't think I would use on a card. I am sure kids would love this idea!
