Torn Paper Flowers

Here's a set of torn paper flower cards I made to use for
I ran my cardstock through the paper crimper to break down the fibers so I could separate the layers.
The next step was tearing the now thin and soft paper into gradient circles to make my flowers.
I added some little pearls to the center and attached it to a paper crimped tag.

Supplies and Tools: Paper Crimper (Fiskers), Script Embossing Folder (Provo Craft),

A little birdie told me....

These cards were totally inspired by the card

I LOVE the little birdie she used on her card and it
jogged my memory of a

CAS Geometric Design

The clean and simple challenge this week is
to use geometric design in your card.
I'm not naturally a CAS card creator
so it's a challenge I enjoy participating in!
After making one for the challenge
I made another card a little less CAS than the first.
The design reminds me of a quilt.

Supplies and Tools: White, Kraft, Teal, Red Cardstock, Teal/Red Pigment Ink, Baker's Twine, Guidelines (Papertrey Ink)

Sew Thankful

Here's a sewing themed set of "thank you" cards I've already used up thanking friends for the surprise service of appreciate (complete with gifts!) they gave us this past Sunday!
I started with the FREE printable button cards from:
I found Vintage Dress Digi's on Etsy that matched my button cards:
A  paper doily, some buttons, and a few stamped images from Sew Special stamp set (Cardmaking and Papercraft) complete the look.
The white background is embossed with my Scallops embossing folder from Sizzix.

Gather Treasures

I like the simplicity of this image stamped on white cardstock and colored lightly with chalks.
I used my scissors to distress the edges,  and added two little stamped and glittered seashells to the corners.

Supplies and Tools: Down by the Seaside (Inkadinkado), Chalks, Seashell stamps, Glitter

Sending You Encouragement

I made this set of cards using the
Garden Collage stamp set from Stampin' Up.
It's one of my favorites that I've come back to several times.
I colored the stamped images with my
Scholar Prismacolor pencils and blended them with baby oil.
The image is die cut with the Postage Stamp (Spellbinders) nestabilities and matted on blue (or pink) cardstock.
The white background is embossed in
Script (The Paper Studio) and a sentiment from
Chalkboard Sentiments (Anna Griffin) added to the side.
Here's a close up of my favorite feature:
The 3D Butterfly
Featured on each card by stamping the image twice;
cutting one out and layering it over the other.

Here's a set of coffee cup shaped cards recently added to my Etsy shop.
They're blank inside so you can customize them for:
~Birthdays
~Get Well
~Thinking of you

Wouldn't it be fun to gift a Starbucks card in one of these?
