Handle With Prayer

Since joining the Shelter: Postmarked Ministry at
the beginning of the year I've been using
a lot more cards than before.
Here's a simple set I created using digis from
A simple paper doily, the digi, and two little banners
is all it took to create these
quick and easy cards.
The sentiment I stamped the jars with reads:
"Life is fragile...Handle with prayer."

Happy 60th

I made this card to congratulate some friends on
60 years of marriage!
I love using my scissors to distress the stamped
pieces - it gives the card texture and softens the edges.
Here's the inside

Supplies and Tools: Love is a Great Thing (Stampin' Up), Chalkboard Sentiments (Anna Griffin), Gray Ink, Rhinestones,  Ribbon, Victoria Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug -Provo Craft)

Door Cards

These front door cards were inspired by a Sketch from:
"Card Sketches for Paper Crafts"
I embossed the door panels with the
Wood Grain embossing folder from Darcie
and inked their edges with the Tim Holtz blending tool.
The wreath is stamped using the
All Season Wreath stamp set from Stampin' Up.
The mini flowers are from the Scalloped Daisy Punch (Fiskars)
I also added a small Baker's Twine bow to the top.

Here's a run down of the measurements I used
for each set of panels
should you want to try one of your own.

Rustic Farmhouse Table Runner

Today I'm sharing a rustic farmhouse table runner I created from red ticking for my Etsy shop.
The runner measures 50 x 16 inches from end to end.
Perfect for adding to rustic farmhouse, french country,
primitive, vintage, Americana, or even shabby chic decor.
