It's time for our Wednesday challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week the theme is --- ANYTHING GOES. I decided to create a masculine birthday card with some outdoor themed stamps. Most of it is monochromatic, except for my brightly colored fish and the bits of moonbeam added with a white gel pen. (For a mini tutorial on creating customized brads visit this post.)
Supplies and Tools:
- Repeat Impression Stamps
- Lumber 3D Embossing Folder (Sizzix - Tim Holtz)
- Canson Mixed Media Paper
- Watercolor Brush Pens (Benicci)
- Phrase One Set (Spellbinders)
- Burlap String
- Gold Brad
- Versamark Watermark ink
- Copper Embossing Powder
- Black Embossing Powder
- White Gel Pen
- Ground Espresso Distress Ink (Ranger)
- These colors of Distress Oxide (Ranger)
- Vintage Photo
- Walnut Stain

What a great masculine card - and love your colored trout. My husbands favorite kind of fishing. This card would certainly make him smile. Great job on your Anything Goes card this week.
Fabulous card Esther, like the wood grain distressed background and those trout are great- like how they are colored and how you have them displayed. Take care.
Outstanding masculine card. I really like how your colored the fish and the distressing on all of your panels is really cool.
Esther, this is amazing! Should be hung on the wall! Beautiful creation! Thanks for sharing!
