Favorite Teddy Bear III

Another Favorite Teddy Bear (Stampin' Up) creation.
I remembered that I had another little teddy bear stamp (1999 Stamp City), so I added her to this scene card.
Details: I added a 3D purple bow over top of her paper one and glittered her flower.
Almost everything on this card is popped up to add dimension.
You can also see the faux stitching on the path and around the green rectangle.
You'll also notice a bit of pink on his cheeks.
This bear I stamped on brown paper and went over the lines with a brown marker, also added a little green bow under his chin.
Here's his wagon full of glittered flowers and honey for his sweetheart.
I also stamped the wheels (of the wagon) again and cut them out and popped them up.
For the background I stamped a linen stamp and border stamp around the kraft cardstock with white pigment ink.

Here's another one of my 9 yr. old's cards:

Favorite Teddy Bear II

Here's another card using the Favorite Teddy Bear stamp set (Stampin' Up)
I'm a firm believer that it's the little details that take a card from ordinary to extra-ordinary.
Here are a few of those details that I added to this card.
I colored, glittered, and popped up the balloons with dimensionals.
I also added a mini pom pom (that I made with embroidery thread) to the top of this bears party hat.
Here you see a red glittered heart on the envelope.
On all my bears I stamped, colored, and then highlighted the stamping with a brown marker -- it really defines the lines on it.
More glitter, rhinestones, and faux stitching add the finishing touches to the Happy Birthday card.

Here's another card my (9 yr. old) daughter made using the same stamp set.

Favorite Teddy Bear I

PERSONAL NOTE:
You're all cordially invited to visit (and like) my new Facebook page via the link on the side of this blog.
Now on to the present post....
I've been having a LOT of fun using the Favorite Teddy Bear stamp set (Stampin' Up) this past week-end, so be prepared for a teddy dominated week here on my blog!
My (9 yr.old) daughter and I spent some time together (in the craft room) last Friday and came up with several different teddy scenes for you.
This first one was a lot of fun - in part because we both made the same card -- just changed up a few small elements and colors.
I used some white flocking on the cloud -- to make it puffy, added a bit of glitter (Studio G) to the heart on the envelope, and also added a yellow bow to the bears head.
I hand drew (and cut out) the tree, popping it up with dimensional tape.
For the grass, I tore a strip of paper and cut it with multi blade scissors. You can see that I scrunched it up a bit to make it more interesting.
The fence was also hand cut.
Lastly, I added some faux stitching around the card's outside edges and around the tree. I think it gives it a more finished look!

Here's the card my daughter made - just like mine!
I'm linking this to:
Stampin' Sisters In Christ where the challenge is to use:
1) oval or circle (my cloud)
2) at least two papers (I used more than that!)
3) at least one embellishment (does a bow, glitter, and flocking count?)
