Vintage Linen Embroidery Hoop Art

My husband recently found me a whole box of vintage linens!
The pieces had some tears and rips,
so I'm upcycling them into new pieces for my Etsy shop!
Here's my first piece:

After framing the vintage linen,
I added a handmade crocheted flower,
some hand-cut burlap leaves, and a pretty ribbon hanger.

Kraft Wedding Card

Here's a wedding card I made for a friend getting married this month.
I embossed the background,
and rubbed my white pigment ink pad over it to "distress" it a little.

Supplies and Tools: Victoria embossing folder (Provo Craft), heart shaped doily, heart shaped burlap, tiny clothespin, white button, white crochet thread, white pigment ink

Crocheted Bowls

Today I'm sharing two crochet bowls I made for the Etsy shop.
The first is made of natural colored crochet thread and measures
9.5 across the top and is about 3.5 inches deep.
These bowls are perfect for hostess or housewarming gifts,
 birthdays, wedding or shower decor,
or simply adding a homemade touch to your home decor.
The second bowl is a smaller white bowl that measures
about 7.5 inches across the top and is 2.5 inches deep
Both bowls fit many different styles of decorating including:
shabby chic, cottage chic, farmhouse, primitive, country etc.

If you'd like to make some of your own you can find the free patterns here and here

Fall Wreath

Here's a fall wreath card I made this past week-end.

I made the wreath from raffia and
added a pumpkin (made with scalloped oval punch),
leaves, and Baker's Twine.

The white cardstock is scored every 1/2 inch
and stamped with a sentiment from Inkadinkado.

Supplies and Tools: Scoring Board (Martha Stewart), Raffia, Orange Baker's Twine, Scallop Oval Punch, Frond Punch (Martha Stewart),  Gratitude Stamp (Harvest Expressions - Inkadinkado), White/Kraft Cardstock, Distress Brown Ink (Tim Holtz), Blending Tool (Tim Holtz)
