February Bulletin Board
Here's my decoration for the bulletin board in the month of February.
I cut a large paper heart out of patterned paper. Using my Martha Stewart lace punch I punched four (11 in.) strips of cream paper and cut to 1 inch wide. This I carefully tacked to the back of the heart - folding it a bit to make it curve with the heart shape. The image is from here --- I balled it up and inked it to age it. The same technique was applied to the paper heart -- cut from an old music book. The flowers were dismantled from a flower "bush" on clearance somewhere, and homemade dewdrops added to the center. Punched a few hearts with my heart paper punch and "sprinkled" around the paper. The poem (printed on red paper and cut into rectangles -- used a corner punch to round the edges) is titled "Others" not necessarily a "love" poem, but about serving others --- which is what love does!

Very nice! I really need a paper crimper now that I've seen your lace edgings. :) That image was one of my favorites at Clearly Vintage, too.
This is beautiful. I love the lace edge.
