Hydrangea Card #2

I love the hydrangea look (with the build a lilac die) and thought I'd try it with patterned paper instead of solid.  Here's the result --- I think it gives the flower more "character."
Supplies used:
  • All DP - Classic K & company
  • MS leaf stamp
  • Sizzix - build a lilac die
  • Blue ink pad (stamped leaf and inked edges of flowers)
  • White Pearl Iridescent Paint (centers of flowers)
  • Butterfly punch
  • Textile Embossing Folder
  • Blue/White Cardstock
Entered in the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge -- use red or blue (or both) on your card.

    I love hydrangeas, and I love how the patterned paper gives it all that "depth" of shading without much work.

    Now you really need to tell me where you found that die. :)

    This is stunning - I love that flower and all of the dimension you have given it - the embossed DP is perfect too! Totally gorgeous! Love it! It is a joy having you play along with us at Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week - hope to see you again next week! {{{hugs}}}
