A Quilt for a Friend

I had a LOT of fun making this quit card.  I punched out a bunch of 3/4 inch squares with paper from my scrap bin.  After I assembled them all and glued them down -- I ran the whole thing through my Singer Pixie ---zig zagging each row to give it the look and feel of a real quilt.  My husband heard me sewing and sewing and sewing and later wondered what I'd been making as it went on and on and on.
Supplies used on this card were:
  • Misc. paper from my scrap bin
  • 3/4 inch square punch
  • Singer Pixie (straight stitch around quilt - zig zags over quilt and around edge of card)
  • MS Embroidered Floral Corner punch (I made those red corner pieces with it)
  • MS ribbon style tags (from my friend Lisa!!)
  • Fine tip felt pen (sentiment)
  • Digital Image from Paper Popsicles
  • Circle - Scallop Circle Nestabilities
