Menu Board

It's been a long time since I've changed my menu board decorations! Too long --- the last decorations I made for it were for fall!!
I decided to make it match my kitchen this time instead of a season or holiday.  This way I won't feel pressed to decorate it in a new theme with each season - but if I have time I can since everything is still attached with velcro.
The bottom right has a mini rolling pin (covered in design paper) on a tag.  Fibers and raffia tied through the top.
For the rooster I used:

  • Linen Background Stamp (Creative Stamping)
  • Sizzix Rooster Die
  • Oval Template
  For the Flowers I used
  • Dictionary Page
  • Martha Stewart Leaf Punch

A View of the "Welcome" banner --- I purposely stamped those letters all cock-eyed since three previous attempts to make them even and straight failed!

I use a similar idea at home, that way my hubby can plan his lunch! Clever idea and great embellishments!!!!
