I spent an afternoon this week with new friend from the Czech Republic (along with her 18 mo. old son) and a young friend who moved here from New York not long ago.
We enjoyed a small tea party while visiting the afternoon away.
Here's the recipe for these delicious delicacies!
Samoas Scones
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, chilled and cut into pieces
1 cup milk
6-oz semisweet chocolate, melted w/tsp. of oil to thin
1 cup caramel sauce
3/4 cup shredded coconut
Preheat oven to 400F.
Grease baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Cut in chilled butter.
Add 1 cup milk
Divide dough in half.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and flatten into a disc about 1/2-inch thick.
Cut into 8 wedges.
Repeat with second piece of dough.
Bake for 16-20 minutes, until scones are a light golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
Melt the chocolate in a small bowl.
Combine caramel and coconut in a small bowl.
Spread scones with the caramel and coconut mixture
Drizzle with chocolate
Makes 16 scones.
Serve and Enjoy!

Oh my they look delicious! I am having a tea party for my sisters and nieces on St. Paddy's day and they are all girl scouts (sis is a leader now) and I used to be for years. How perfectly timed! When I made these I will share the pics with you! Sounds like you had a perfect day!
Like the new look on your blog. These look scrumptious thanks for my cyber feast. ~ Abby
