Sock Monkey Baby Shower

I had a lot of fun planning and hosting a baby shower for my nephew's wife (Emily) last Saturday.
Since she's having a boy and doing his nursery in the sock monkey theme - I chose the same theme for my shower decor.
All the shower decorations went home with her as a gift (minus the big wagon since that is my daughter's from some very special friends in Indiana!).
We used the wagon to put the gifts in:
Check out the banana tree diaper cake my friend made her:
I found this metal bicycle at Hobby Lobby and the slingshot (screaming) sock monkey on ebay.
This little red wagon also came from ebay -- I borrowed one of Emily sock monkeys to sit inside.
The letters came from Wal-mart and the papers to decorate them came from Hobby Lobby.
Here's the little sock monkey advice tree -- you can find the free printables for this on the "Tricks of the Motherhood Trade" blog.
(Note: They took a while to load up -- just be patient and they'll get there eventually.)
I did tissue paper pom poms above the table instead of balloons.
Here are links to the rest of the Sock Monkey themed posts.

It turned out perfect!! I love how you did the backdrop thing in order to put up the clothesline. I can't wait to see the rest of your posts about it.
