Core'dinations Cardstock

Today I’m sharing a card I made using some of the Core’dinations Cardstock.  “Sand it; tear it; or antique it… these are only a few ideas of what you can do with this wonderful paper. Each sheet has a wonderful canvas texture that can be sanded  (with the sand-it gadget) to reveal a coordinating core color.
To create my card I chose a piece of light blue cardstock from the Core’dinations Pastel paper pack. I embossed it with Chiaro Embossing folder from Couture Creations and lightly sanded the top. Next I rubbed a bit of salty ocean distress ink over parts of it using my ink applicator. I used a corner rounder punch on the bottom of the card – just to give it a little different look.
I stamped a sentiment from All Things Are Possible (Heartfelt Creations) in broken china distress ink onto a white strip of paper. I added a pretty flower die cut with the Exquisite Poppy dies from Creative Expressions. I inked the edges of my flower with fossilized amber distress ink. The leaves were die cut using the Flower Petals Sizzix die and inked with pine needles distress ink. A strip of pretty lace and a natural burlap string bow complete the front of my card.
Inside I used the Lace stencil (Tim Holtz), distress inks, and stencil brushes to add a some pretty doily motifs to the corners.
I’d love to see how you use core’dination paper on your projects so stop by the CURRENT CHALLENGE and link up your creations that use products from companies Cropstop carries! Happy Crafting…..
