Back To School

It seems like schools are starting earlier and earlier every year, but growing up it was tradition to wait until the day after Labor Day to begin. I suppose I’ll always think of September as “back to school” month, even though many of them begin in August now.
For a mini tutorial on stamping with embossing folders and a step by step guide to putting this card together, visit the Cropstop Blog today.

 Supplies and Tools:
Measured Stencil (Tim Holtz), Gesso, File Folder Die (Couture Creations), Flashcard Printable (Thirty Handmade Days), Journal Cards Embossing Folder (Couture Creations), Salty Ocean Distress Ink, Picket Fence Distress Stain, Studio G Alphabet Stamps, Twine, Circle Nestabilities, Cardboard, Star Punch, Baker's Twine, Washi Tape

This is really sweet. I saw it over at CropStop and had to come over and tell you how much I liked it. I love the school theme and how you even designed the inside.

2 of my grandsons start school today, they are starting in a new school and are a bit nervous. I reminded them, they are - brave, strong, and courageous because they can do ALL things through Christ who gives them strength. I love your beautiful cards Esther and the way you combine elements for the perfect blend. I hope and pray you and your daughter have a wonderful school year. ~ Abby

I love these. Can you please tell me how to resize them smaller?

In answer to your question "eyestitch" - I resized the flashcards by copying and pasting them to Open Office.
