I went over the pine needles with three shades of green and added some DIY snow to the front of my card to give the illusion that it's snowing!
While it looked ok with just the greens/browns --- I love the extra "pop" the red baker's twine adds - to me it was the finishing touch!
Supplies and Tools:
Winter Blessings (Graciellie Design), Touch Five Markers, Homemade Snow, Baker's Twine
OK - So after I made the first card, I was hooked! I really, really like these pine branches, and since I had a little extra time today I made a second card.
So here's Winter Wishes - Take # 2
Supplies and Tools for Take#2:
Winter Blessings (Graciellie Design), Touch Five Markers, Distress Oxide (Peeled Paint/Walnut Stain), Distress Ink(Pine Needles/Gathered Twigs), Seam Binding, White Acrylic Paint, White Gel Pen, Circle & Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Sponge Daubers

These are really great! Your coloring of he branches really brought them to life. Thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge
I can see why you "had" to have that branch as it's so beautiful! Wonderful cards, Esther & I agree about the red/white twine!
Oh my goodness you colored these just beautiful, love the extra touches with the snow, beautiful in both styles great sentiments!!
GORGEOUS creations Esther!! Love them all! The one on the kraft colored cardstock has that warm, earthy vibe that I so inviting!
Absolutely STUNNING work, Esther. I love the life-like look of these branches and pine cones. The red baker's twine is an awesome accent. Thanks so much for sharing with us, and please stop by again soon.
Really Reasonable Ribbon
I really love both of these, but you know how I like to grunge things up so the kraft card jumped out at me. I apologize for being a bad blog buddy, but I can barely keep up with my deadlines these days and my job has been super hectic. It's great to get by here and see your beautiful work in detail. I always enjoy my daily IG peeks! :) Hugs, Autumn
Beautiful!! Thank you for joining us at Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge this week!
This is a really sweet card and a great addition to our challenge. Thanks for joining us at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Hugs from Ginny at POlly's Paper Studio.
A beautiful pair of cards! Rich, warm, earthy and cozy!
Lovely CAS design with Gracie's new set! The touch of sparkle is perfect, Esther.
Well...I made a card for this week using this very same set, and let me tell you....mine didn't turn out even nearly as well as yours. This is beautiful. I struggled with mine. Nothing wrong with the images...obviously they are GORGEOUS. It's all ME and struggles with my printer. Grrr. You really nailed this, and made the images SHINE!!! Great use of the baker's twine too. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us.
