Vintage Holiday Children

I can hardly believe it's time to post Christmas cards already, but it is! For today's card I pulled out a large PSX Christmas stamp that I've used only once or twice before! I love this image, and it supplied the perfect opportunity to practice using my new Touch Five markers!
After coloring the image, I added some highlights with a white gel pen. I fussy cut around the image and layered it on a stamped music background.
Supplies and Tools:
Vintage Children Stamp (PSX), Touch Five Markers, White Gel Pen, Music Background Stamp (Stampin' Up), Snowflakes Embossing Folder (Cuttlebut), Doily Embossing Folder (Sizzix), Pearls (Darice), Pink Ribbon, Sparkly Snowflake Sticker (Dollar Tree), Phrases Set 2 Dies (Spellbinders) Coredinations Cardstock, Graphite Black Brilliance Ink (Tsukineko)

Beautifully done, Esther! Thanks for sharing and inspiring - I don't do much vintage - it intimidates me!!!

What a darling card, Esther. I used that wonderful rare PSX stamp a few years ago on my Christmas cards and your card brought back some delightful memories. I love the colors you've chosen. So pretty. Following your fun blog.

Hi Esther, I wanted to pop by and say thank you for the lovely comment on my blog and for reminding me about Crop Stop's linky parties. I can't enter that card currently because of being tied to rules at certain challenges but I sure will remember to double check my upcoming projects to see if I fit the Crop Stop themes and rules.

I'm not surprised you love that stamp either, it's beautiful and the way you have coloured it makes it look so fresh and pretty too. I've stamped for a long time and I still have a few favourite PSX stamps that I love so much I'm willing to put up with the wooden blocks. Too many lovely stamp companies have disappeared that I first started out with. Have a lovely weekend Karen x

They are so sweet and I do love the two tone embossed background, such a neat touch! The white highlighting looks great on the wreath!

PSX did have beautiful images--think I may still have some in my stash. This one looks like something you'd buy--can't believe you haven't used it more often! Such a gorgeous, vintage card, Esther!
