I don't know about you, but sometimes I get "stuck in a rut." I've been so into creating my own backgrounds with distress inks, stamps, stencils, colorburst, and embossing folders that I almost forgot that I had patterned paper! Well, yesterday I pulled out an unopened paper stack (from a recent Hobby Lobby clearance event) and whipped up these two chalkboard cards. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they came together!
Supplies and tools:
- Hymn Word Art (Sweet n Sassy Stamps)
- Versamark Watermark Ink
- White Embossing Powder
- Brilliance Moonlight White Ink (Tsukineko)
- Petals and Blooms Paper Stack (The Paper Studio)
- Flower Punch
- Mini Pearls
- Baker's Twine

The black is so striking, and the chalkboard vision totally shines through. Gorgeous.
Great cards! I really like those papers. Thanks for joining us at Little Red Wagon again.
I love these sentiments on these chalkboard cards. I am the opposite, I am always reaching for my papers and need to remember to use all the products I have bought to make backgrounds :) Probably because I have too many papers and are trying to use some up :) That flower paper is terrific with them!
These are beautiful. I love the colours. Thank you for sharing at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper. Beckie x
Thanks for sharing your fabulous project with us in the Mix It Up Challenge Blog's June "Inlaid Die Cut" challenge and we hope to see you again next month!
